Unfortunately Gmail doesnt support rich text editting in its signature settings. The plain text that it does allow is fine for a simple signature in a personal gmail account but my Gmail at work (Google Apps Premier Edition) was 10 lines long and looking ridiculous. Remember those colourful little flags that we could use in outlook, well gmail have them too. You can add different coloured stars and exclamations, done ticks, etc; you just have to apply them.
