Cook

Mmmhhh what’s for dinner?

I was a lacto-vegetarian (white meat only) for 7 years, until I had the most awesome steak and well that was the end of that teenage fad. Since then I have grown into a ‘foodie’.

I will try anything once. I have eaten baby bird in Cyprus and as much as I can say I didn’t like it, deep down I enjoyed the experience. Travelling helps me experience so many types of cuisine.

In my kitchen, I tend to go for healthy alternatives. I don’t appreciate processed foods. I love local grown produce and whilst I love sweets I often experiment in removing refined sugars and going with natural sweeteners.

I think everyone can enjoy food of all types as long as they understand moderation. I think that the world is obsessed with dieting and reports of the increases in obesity is really just a marketing gimmick to sell more processed packaged crap.

My recipes can be found here drdietright.
